Anticoagulation Clinic

Any patients currently taking Warafin or any other blood thinner that requires monitoring of blood clotting time are encouraged to participate in our Anticoagulation Clinic. Warafin is an anticoagulant prescribed to reduce the ability of the blood to clot, thereby reducing the risk of certain conditions such as heart attacks, leg clots, and other disorders.

However, high levels of Warfarin in your blood can increase the risk of bleeding. It is very important to monitor and manage the levels of Warfarin in your blood. Our Anticoagulation Clinic utilizes the latest technologhy to deliver INR (blood clotting time) levels immediately and offer patient education opportunities that can make anticoagulation therapy both safer and more effective.

Physician referral is required to participate in the Anticoagulation Clinic.
