Pain Management

Acute pain from a number of events or circumstances such as surgery, injury, burns or cuts continue to send pain signals long after underlying causes for the pain have been treated or healed. This is chronic pain, the area of medicine that our pain management physicians handle most.

Depending on its severity, pain may be treated in a number of ways. Pain management physicians work closely with each patient to find a treatment that offers relief, exploring options including nerve blocks, physical therapy, and surgery or drug treatments.
